Life new normal of Filipinos: COVID-19

In recent months there have been reminders, policies, protocols and much more that happened after a few months. We experience an unprecedented shift in our way of life due to Covid-19 in education, transportation, economic and livelihood. In education there was blended learning with online class and modular. It is difficult for students who do not even have a gadget to source their resources. A lot of adjustment is needed here.There are large companies that are allowed and the small stores are not allowed just so that the number of cases does not increase and we also notice the change in transportation and our economy has collapsed due to such incidents. all affected and all adjusted.

94% of Filipinos are worried about COVID-19, with 38% indicating their income dropped. Filipinos have also experienced significant impact on their household income due to community quarantine.

Breakfast at my House

During the week we’re often walking out the door with a coffee in one hand and slice of toast in the other, but on weekends breakfast is never rushed. It’s a late affair, sometimes spilling over to lunch, with lots of reading and chatter in between courses of fruits, poached eggs, honey and toast. One of our favorite things we like to serve when friends are visiting are buckwheat blueberry pancakes.
